COVID-19 Pandemic – Employees Deemed Essential to Critical Infrastructure Viability

The Mosaic Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates have operations throughout the United States. We mine ore, make fertilizer, animal feed ingredients and chemicals and distribute finished product throughout the country.

In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, workers in these industries are identified as “essential” by the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS). That designation includes workers needed to maintain the continuity of those operations, like contractors and suppliers to our businesses. States, counties and some large municipalities are taking the same or similar measures (see below) and often rely on DHS’s determination when identifying which employees or businesses are essential.

Based on the above, our operation remains open.

As of May 27, 2020, such, or similar, orders remain in effect for the following:
